Acyclovir 400 Stada

Acyclovir STADA is taken orally.

Treatment with acyclovir must be started as soon as possible at the onset of signs and symptoms of disease.

– Treatment of primary herpes simplex infections including genital herpes: The usual dose is 200 mg orally 5 times a day, 4 hours apart. Drink for 5-10 days. If severely immunocompromised or poorly absorbed: 400 mg/time 5 times daily for 5 days. – Elimination of relapse in immunocompetent people (at least 6 relapses/year): Oral 800 mg/day divided into 2 or 4 times. Therapy must be discontinued after 6-12 months to assess results.

+ Adults: 800 mg/time, 4 or 5 times/day. Drink for 5-7 days.

+ Children:

> 2 years old: 20 mg/kg, maximum 800 mg/time, 4 times/day. Drink for 5 days.
