RENAL-S is a complementary combination of three active ingredients which ensures superior efficacy in the treatment of urinary tract infection and spasm, and enhances urinary excretion of uric acid. Hexamine, the first ingredient in RENAL-S, is a urinary tract antiseptic which is slowly hydrolyzed to formaldehyde which possesses antibacterial activity against most common urinary tract pathogens including Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Khellin, the second ingredient in RENAL-S, is a natural ingredient which acts directly as a relaxant of urinary tract smooth muscles thus relieving spasms and colics associated with urinary disorders. Piperazine citrate, the third ingredient in RENAL-S, adds to the benefits of RENAL-S as it helps dissolve uric acid and urate crystals thus preventing their deposition in the urinary tract, ensuring the effectiveness of RENAL-S in the treatment of renal disorders associated with urate calculi.
